The community
One community, before one app.
ARI is being built around the people who'll use it. Long before the app arrives, we're bringing SEND families together in one place, so no parent has to work it all out alone.
Why a community first
The support is already out there. The people are just scattered.
You learn things the hard way: which forms matter, what to ask for, who to push back on. That hard-won knowledge can stay locked in one household, or one exhausting group chat.
The community brings it into one place. Parents who have been through a tribunal, a transition, a diagnosis, sitting alongside parents just starting out. That is worth building before a single feature ships.
Filling the gaps
The places that work, from the people who actually go.
So much of a good day out comes down to detail: a café with a quiet corner, a play area that isn't overwhelming, somewhere with a proper changing space. The community knows these places, because they live them.
Parents rate each location on what it genuinely provides for SEND families, not a generic star for the coffee. Cafés, play areas, swimming, days out: the everyday places that either work or really don't.
What we're trying to achieve
A place that feels safe, honest, and genuinely useful.
In one place
Bring families together
End the scattered group chats and dead-end searches. One community where SEND parents can find each other and the answers they need.
Kept safe
Verified and always moderated
Verified parents only, and every group has a moderator. A space where you can speak plainly about a hard week without it turning into a fight.
Built with you
Shaped by families first
What the community needs is what ARI becomes. The community shapes ARI, never the other way around.
Early thinking
The groups we think should exist.
These are our starting suggestions, drawn from where families tell us it gets hardest. None of them are running yet and the list is not settled. Each one would be small and would have a moderator.
If one of these is wrong, or the group you need is missing, that is exactly what we want to hear.
Tribunals & Appeals
For the paperwork and the fight. Parents who have been through it, sharing what actually helped.
School Transitions
Moving year, moving school, moving on. Getting a transition right before it becomes a crisis.
Staying Involved From a Distance
For parents who aren't in the same house every day but are every bit as involved.
Just Here to Listen
Some days you don't need advice, only someone who gets it. A quieter corner to vent, or just sit with it.
The waitlist
Join us before we launch.
Leave your email and we'll send an honest update as ARI is built, plus a note the moment it's ready. No spam, just one parent writing to another.
We'll only use your email to tell you about ARI. See the privacy policy. Could you help shape it? There is a separate list for that.
Almost there. Check your email.
We've sent you a link to confirm. Click it and you're on the list. If it does not arrive in the next few minutes, please have a look in your spam folder.
If you do not confirm, what you sent is deleted within three days.
One App. One Community.
